By accessing or using Strokon (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

Strokon is a golf performance tracking platform that allows users to:

  • Track golf rounds, scores, and shot data
  • Calculate and monitor handicap
  • Analyze performance statistics
  • Connect with other golfers through social features
  • Join golf clubs and participate in tournaments
  • Access GPS-based shot tracking on golf courses

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Submit false golf scores or manipulate handicap calculations
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Service.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse any User Content and have no obligation to monitor or remove User Content, though we reserve the right to do so.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Strokon and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as golf course data providers, payment processors, or social networks). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Some features of the Service may require payment. By purchasing a subscription or making a payment, you agree to our pricing and payment terms. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription in your account settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Golf course data, GPS measurements, and handicap calculations are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of this data.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STROKON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
